Stage Backdrop KL for Corporate Events
Partylicious designs and builds stage backdrop KL companies use for annual dinners, conferences, product launches and award nights — the wall behind the stage that every photo, every livestream frame and every slide of the recap deck is shot against.
A stage backdrop is a different job from a photo wall. It has to work at distance, under stage lighting, with a lectern and screens in front of it, and it has to stay readable when a camera at the back of the ballroom shoots it.
Where a stage backdrop is used
Annual dinners and award nights
The main visual of the evening, sized to the ballroom stage. See annual dinner decoration KL.
Conferences and seminars
Branded wall that carries the event title, sponsor logos and hashtag for the whole programme.
Product launches
Backdrop plus reveal staging, often paired with a customized launching box or event special effects.
Town halls and company briefings
Clean corporate wall for internal events that get recorded and shared.
Ceremonies and prize-givings
Wide format so the full line-up fits in frame for the group photo.
Livestreamed events
Matte, low-contrast finishes that hold up on camera rather than blooming under lights.
How we build it
| Site visit | Stage width and height, ceiling clearance, lighting rig position, screen placement and camera positions are measured before design. |
| Sizing | Wider than the stage, tall enough to clear the lighting bar in frame. See our event backdrop size guide. |
| Format | Flat panel, layered panels for depth, or large format and L-shape where the stage wraps. |
| Surface | Printed panels, fabric, sequin or timber — matte finishes for camera work. |
| Structure | Free-standing and weighted. No fixing into the venue. |
| Install window | Built to the venue load-in schedule, usually overnight or in the pre-event window. |

Common mistakes we design around
Too narrow. A backdrop the same width as the stage looks undersized once the lectern, screens and speakers are in place. Go wider than the stage, not equal to it.
Logos too low. Anything in the bottom third is hidden by the speaker, the lectern and the front row of heads. Keep branding in the upper half.
Glossy surfaces. Stage lighting is intense and directional. Gloss creates hot spots that ruin both photos and livestream.
Ignoring the lighting bar. Venue trusses often sit lower than the ceiling. The usable height is the clear height under the rig, not the room height.
How wide should a ballroom stage backdrop be?
Typically 6m and up for a hotel ballroom, and wider than the stage itself. We confirm after measuring the stage and camera positions.
Can you match our event theme?
Yes. Send the theme, key visual or brand guidelines and we produce concept visuals before fabrication.
Do you work with the AV team?
Yes. Screen positions, truss heights and cable routes affect the build, so we coordinate with AV during the site visit.
Do you drill into the ballroom wall?
No. Everything is free-standing and weighted, which is what hotels require.
How far ahead should we book?
Six to eight weeks for ballroom-scale builds, so there is time for a site visit, drawings and printing.
